Get Involved

As a volunteer led and supported organization, Worthdays is truly a result of our community joining us in our mission that every child in our local foster care system is worthy of being celebrated.

There is a way for almost anyone to get connected to helping children and youth in our local foster care system. We encourage you to take a look around and consider how you might get plugged in with our growing organization! If you would like to make a tax-deductible donation to Worthdays, you can do so by mailing a check to Worthdays P.O. Box 72612 Richmond, VA 23235 or by clicking the donate button below.

Create a Birthday Box

The most common way people are involved in our organization is by creating a birthday box personalized for a specific child in our community who would otherwise not be celebrated on their birthday. 

Host a Drive

Help us collect items that are often needed by our local foster care agencies by hosting a drive to benefit Worthdays.

Help with a Special Event/Project

Throughout the year we have special events or projects that we could use help with. This could range from you helping create momentos of appreciation for local foster parents to volunteering in person at a local event we are sponsoring.

Party with a Purpose

You can use your own birthday to not only raise money or collect items for us but also to spread awareness about the needs of our local foster care community.

Donate personalized items

If you are a local maker, designer, etsy-owner, crafter or handmade guru, we would love for you to use your talents to benefit the children of our local foster care system by providing a personalized item on a one-time or reoccuring basis.
